About The Artist

Pauline Murphy is an up and coming artist from Armagh in Northern Ireland. At the age of 20 Pauline has already had her work in the Sol Art gallery's exhibition in Armagh City Hotel and debuted her first exhibition in Dublin during the Summer 2010 in the Green Gallery in St Stephen's Green Centre. Following on from the success of the Green Gallery exhibition in August 2010, Pauline had her work exhibiting in the BallaBan Art Gallery in the Westbury Mall in Dublin. She had her work shown in two exhibitions for Arthur's Day and Dublin Fashion week September 2010. For Halloween Pauline had her work in the Balla Ban Art Gallery's ' The Halloween Show and All things Scary' Exhibition alongside, Jonathan Barry, Frank O'Dea, FINK, Tom Byrne, William Mulhall and others.



Her work is currently featured on the newirishart website and she also has her work on this blogsite. She also has her own independent website. Her blogsite has had international interest and views from 6 continents, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Latvia, Spain, Italy, Russia, the Netherlands,Greece, Denmark and Israel from Europe. China and India from Asia, Austrailia and New Zealand from Australasia, Ecuador from South America, Ghana from Africa and the USA.

Pauline focuses nearly entirely on portraiture and has in her collection celebrities such as Bono, U2, Coldplay, Michael Jackson, Johnny Depp, Sex and the city, Lady GaGa and famous figures such as Barack Obama and Martin Luther King amongst her collection. She uses a variety of mediums to complete her work, but her favourite medium is pencil. At this young age, Pauline is set to flourish in the art world and especially that of Irish Portraiture.

Art Exhibition Green Gallery 2010

Thank you to all who called in to see my Art in the Green Gallery during the past week, especially I'd like to thank Dermot and Irena at the Green Gallery for all the help and giving me a chance, to Mr Frank O'Dea at Balla Ban Art Gallery for giving me the wonderful opportunity of starting to work with you and the Balla Ban Gallery.To Mr Martin Davis at Sol Art for reigniting the dream in Armagh by allowing me to work with him in their Armagh exhibition in March 2010. To Miss Fiona Donnelly,Leanne Mc Guigan, Ronan Mc Bride, Aidan Murphy, Anna Mc Grath and Louise Murphy for making the lovely effort to come and share the experience with me :) Thank you for showing your support, it means so much I only hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
